Recently the Emperor has removed Duke Sigismund von Jungfreud, throwing the city into an uncertain future.

Remnants of those loyal to the Jungfreud's contend with newly arrived nobility from the Empire, all attempting to elevated to the empty ducal title.

The power vacuum has created an opportunity for others however, who wish to see Ubersreik remain a free-trade center, ruled only by the guilds.
